Galloway is a winter bread wheat from the French breeder Agri Obtentions, registered in France in 2023. Granar Tarım is the Turkish distributor of Agri Obtentions.
Its distinguishing feature is quality class: BAF in France, the top bread-wheat grade sought by millers for blending. Hard grain, high alveograph W value, tenacious dough profile.
Awnless spike, calm stem elongation, early heading and good cold tolerance. Resistant to yellow rust, moderate to brown rust and fusarium; susceptible to orange wheat blossom midge and mosaic virus.
