Ramdam is a triticale from the French breeder Agri Obtentions, registered in France in 2018. Granar Tarım is the Turkish distributor of Agri Obtentions.
Triticale is a wheat–rye hybrid. Ramdam stands out for productivity: it received the highest rating at registration for both grain and straw yield. That combination makes it suitable for forage and bedding straw as well as grain.
The plant is fairly tall yet stands well — an unusual combination. Good cold tolerance, semi-early heading, high resistance to brown rust, tolerant of mosaic virus. High thousand-grain weight.
